Michelle Risi - CEO of Aligned Academy, and Broker/Owner of Royal Lepage Connect Realty
Michelle was named one of the Top 50 women in Canadian real estate according to Real Estate Professionals Magazine. She is the CEO of Aligned Academy, and Broker/Owner of Royal Lepage Connect Realty a real estate brokerage in Durham and Toronto. Candice Thomas - Owner of the Evergreen Wellness Studio
Candice is the Owner of Evergreen Wellness Studio, a mother and fierce advocate for perinatal mental health in the Barrie, Ontario community. Candice has been working as a Registered Massage Therapist and Certified Athletic Therapist for 14 years. Her studio is known for offering treatment that bridges the gap between mental and physical health through massage, meditation and mindfulness practices. She is an Ambassador for the Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative and a force when it comes to raising awareness for women’s mental health. In 2022 Candice led the first annual Flora’s Walk in Barrie, raising over $10,000 to support perinatal mental health services in Simcoe County and plans to do it again in 2023 and each year after.

Patti M Hall - Author, Writing Coach & Story Alchemist
Patti is an author, writing coach and publishing project manager, and a proud #memoiraholic. She adores non-fiction and especially the memoir and personal narrative genre. She's an architect of story and helps people design and build books. She loves the way that books are constructed — their infrastructure begins from the scaffolding of an outline, chapter, scenes, backstory and reflection. the thematic structure is revealed like specks of colour; breadcrumbs for the reader to find their way to your conclusion. She's a magnet for story and was built for listening, cultivating memories, and tugging at tales. She's that person you meet at a dinner party, between the shelves at the library or in the coffee shop line that you find yourself telling your history to. She has a bachelor's and a master's degree, and no they aren't in english lit creative writing. Her education explains her appreciation for formal writing, and my many years of coaching aspiring university essay writers.

Jennifer St. John - Owner & Founder Marnie & Michael
Jennifer has always been a creative type - from interior design to art departments on film sets, to co-owning a film & television production company in Toronto and publishing be kind, love hard, make memories. Her vision for this mental health social enterprise took on a new meaning after the loss of both her parents, Marnie and Michael, in under a year. As founder, Jennifer wears many hats as she works with her extended team both in the studio and on a consultant basis. She is passionate about her involvement in ending the stigma around mental health and fostering honest, open, and accurate conversations.
