How to use Reviews & Testimonials in your Marketing Strategy

In this Episode

You received some amazing feedback from a recent project or sale of your products... amazing! Once once you've done your happy dance ( at least I hope you do a happy dance - you deserve it) I want you to consider some ways that you can utilize that feedback as part of your marketing strategy.

If you ever feel stuck in what to post next on social media or to share in your weekly email newsletters; why not look to some of the reviews and testimonials you've received and repurpose?

Reviews and testimonials offer potential new clients and customers a glimpse as to what it is like to work with you or to buy from you.  It lends to your credibility and expertise.

Here are some ways to get started:
- sending an email once your service has ended,. You could create a form in Google Forms and send to your client to fill out. You could also create a survey.

- Make it easy for your clients and customers by following up with an email and a direct link of where you'd like them to go. For example, to your Google Business Profile.

- Another way to ask for feedback is through social media. You could add something to your Instagram stories and add a question stickers and just say, "hey, if you've worked with me, I'd love for you to drop in a couple words of  what you thought of the service, etc...

- Once you have your reviews, your feedback, your testimonials, I want you to carve out some space on your website to prominently display them. This is really great for your credibility. It shows, you know, the actual feedback from real clients and customers.

**On that note, I do want to make sure that you're protected and there are privacy laws that you might want to look into. They vary from country to country, but making sure that you have permission from your client in order to display on your website.
So written permission is probably a good idea. So look into that to make sure that you're protected and that it's clearly defined and of course that those reviews are true and accurate.

Tune in and enjoy all the creative ways to maximize your reviews, testimonials and reviews.
